things in things!

i have really figured out something good now. everyone write this down.

things... go in other things.

it's brilliant. whoever invented putting things in things should be given an award or a strawberry or something. me, i'm going to make a career of putting things in boxes and closing them and then opening boxes and taking things out. i'll never get tired of this!

wow, i have just been so busy lately. ever since i started crawling, they keep a closer eye on me and it's hard to get to the computer!

i have had a major breakthough recently. i trained the big folks to understand my hand gestures! now if i reach for something, they hand it to me, and there's a move i can do to get mum to feed me tasty stuff. oh, and another move makes daddy say "kitty" and meow like the black fluffy things!

yep, i'd say my life is just about perfect. except when mummy gets water in my eyes.

so busy

hi all, i have been so super busy recently. i figured out a way to get around on my own and it is awesome, especially to try and catch the fluffy black things (they are called gtttts). oh and the big walking brown thing called bree is fun too, but i don't chase her. i just pat her, soft touch.

well it is almost time to put mum to bed. recently we've been doing it weird, though, where she sits in a chair and i am in my own little space and she goes to bed that way. at least i think so. i wake up and she's not there so i have to find her, and she comes in and then goes back to bed. it's all very strange, but whatev.

i need new pictures, too, since the one i am using is so five months ago.

one thing, many names

it seems like everything in the world has more than one name. the big brown thing that walks around is dog, or bree, or puppy. the little black thing that is furry is called cat, but also kitty, and also urza, and also what sounds like mishra. only daddy is always daddy, that's the only thing that stays the same.

there's a very special way of moving around on the floor that makes you go forward instead of backward! i think this discovery could be very useful. i wonder if i should call the newspaper?

i found a new noise. aunt jen said i sounded like a 'wail' but obviously it was an airplane noise. humph.

mum has a new toy she is letting me play with. it is small and i bite it and it tastes pretty good, not like plastic or anything. then sometimes i drop it and the doggy goes 'crunch' on something but then mum has the tasty thing again. it is not my fault, this thing is slippery!

i have no idea what was going on this morning, but there was definitely a new toy in the house. it was white and folded funny and tasted pretty good - aunt jen called it a 'bow'. i can't wait to play with it again later, but now it is naptime.

things from above

i have noticed that people don't pay nearly enough attention to what is over their heads. often there is some pretty cool stuff 'up there.' for instance, last night mummy and i were just chillin upstairs when suddenly the ceiling sort of just opened up and there was this ladder thing coming down! it was SO neat! i wanted to go look around up there but mummy was feeling a bit cranky so we let aunt jen do it.

then today, aunt jen and i were in a very small room -- this is the place where the funny man lives -- and i looked up and not only were there a ton of lights up there in this little bitty tiny room with the sliding doors, but there was aunt jen! and a baby! and then later mummy was up there too! but she was also close enough to say hi right next to me. i still do not understand how she does that.

mum and aunt jen (but especially mum) often make this horrible scary noise when they are holding a white thing on their face. it freaks me out. the white thing looks like paper, which means it would be good to eat, but i can't get past the whole scary noise thing. meh.

feeling bad, and a discovery

i have not been feeling so great this week. on the plus side, i got extra cuddling from mum and aunt jen and this 'sis' person, too.

in other news, there is a giant... thing walking around our house! i don't know what else to call it. it is huge. it is not a person but it is not the little black fluffy things either. this thing has big giant ears and it is very soft, though its feet are hard and pointy (ow). it also has a very wet mouth. it's around all the time and i love it! i can touch it or pull on it or just watch it walk around, it's really neat. i don't know where it came from, but i discovered this week that i love it.

today aunt jen saw me roll over from my back to my tummy. i didn't think much of it because i'd only done it like a zillion times before, but she got excited and told grandma, and grandma got excited and told daddy, and then someone told mummy and good grief.

also mummy gave me some fun stuff to suck on. the first was warm and greasy and it was okay but not great. it made me yawn. the second was cold and slippery and spongy and that was just about the best thing i've ever sucked on! except oppai of course.

so much fun stuff!

tonight was so fun. first grandma was holding me, and then aunt jen was there, then mummy tossed me up in the air, then that other girl was eating something, and then daddy let me play with his beard. aunt jen played that game where i sit on her legs and she says 'smooth road,' and then 'bumpy road' and we bounce, and then 'rough road' and i really bounce a lot, and then 'hole!' and down i go. ha ha!

even when i took mummy up to put her to bed, there was daddy pretending to eat my foot. i laughed at that because he is so cute.

i just love watching people 'eat'. they don't eat oppai like me so i'm still trying to understand it -- maybe i will try it sometime but right now i don't feel like it.

this grandma person is a lot of fun. i think everyone should have one.

the other day i was just chilling and playing with my toys when mummy tried to hand me that blue thing that's been around since forever. so i tried to take it and she was like no, here it is, and i was like well give it to me then, and she was like no, here it is. i just wanted to eat it. so i just lunged for it real quick and got my mouth on the pointy end :-) but it tasted funny.

then she stuck it up my nose. i swear, the woman has no sense of decency.

oh also, the day after that we all went someplace. well, daddy wasn't there but it was me and mummy and aunt jen and the big thing they call 'doggy'. it was really cold out but mummy had my hat. there was stuff in the air too, not like rain but different. mummy said it was 'snow' which i will have to find out more about.

i forgot to mention this funny thing that happened when we were with aunt kim and uncle jeffy. we were eating in one of those big dining halls where you just sit and wait for the food, and i was kinda bored so i started crying. mummy handed me to daddy but i kept going. now here's the funny part: uncle jeffy had said he never heard me cry, so daddy lifted me across the table and pointed me right at aunt kim and said 'there's your crying!'

so i stopped.

and then i giggled because it was just too funny.

and how can i not laugh at aunt kim? she's like the funniest person i've ever met. she always makes me laugh! that's why i liked having her ride next to me in the car. me laughing made *her* laugh, and that was just a riot.

mummy and i spent most of yesterday at one of my fans' conventions -- you know, the big building, bright lights, tons of fans, and all the playing with swords designed for my amusement. i didn't realize i had this many fans until mummy started taking me to these conventions a few weeks ago. daddy wasn't there performing (they call it "fencing") like normal, but that was all right since he came later after i had a few naps.

i'm also making progress on my quest to find things that have milk inside. so far, it's still just mummy's oppai and then those plastic things aunt jen has, but i've ruled out a ton of other stuff.

well, time to eat and then we're off to the convention!

mummy said something about going to bed, but like usual i didn't want to. so i've been just making all kinds of interesting noises just to see what i can do. it's fun. last week my favorite was a kind of flappy noise with my mouth, that sometimes made extra bubbles or spit or something. today i tried that one with my tongue out.

but when it's bedtime, nothing beats plain old "uhhhh" noises. or "ahhhhhh." just a bit ago, i was said uhhhhh and i tried to see how long i could go, and then mummy looked at me and just burst out laughing, which of course made me laugh. i thought she was going to sleep but i guess not. i hope i didn't wake her.

mummy does this thing where we go upstairs together and lie down for a while. tonight i said ya this is fun and all, but what's the point? she left to go do something across the room so i just stayed in bed by myself, singing and talking and playing with my feet ;-)

oh ya, my feet are awesome. i played with them last night for a long time. grab, fall to one side, kick out. grab, fall to one side, kick out. great fun. i ended up turning in a circle though, which was weird.

standing is fun

i swear my aunt jen is so silly sometimes. i was standing there on my book/diaper table (i let aunt jen hold my belly to make her feel safer), and she pretended to eat me. i wasn't fooled though. so i ate her nose for real! then she ducked her head, but i knew she didn't mind because she was laughing, so i grabbed her hair with both hands and ate her hair too.

she laughed so much i had to laugh too. but honestly, what did she think i would do?

daddy says i'm plenty strong enough to stand all day, i just don't have any balance. so now i'm looking into maybe buying some on the black market. anyone got a lead?

eating

i am trying to see how many fingers i can fit in my mouth at once. so far i am up to two of mine plus one of mummy's, but i think i can do better than that.

i am still so tired from the weekend. we went to a big fencing meet and everyone wanted to smile at me and say hi, so there was no time for napping. it was a lot of fun though. i have finally managed to capture that elusive hippo and try to eat her. but some parts of the hippo are not good for eating.

*yawn*

so the other day aunt jen took me to the library, but i didn't feel like going in, so we just dropped off the old books and went back home. then that night mummy took me to the place where daddy teaches the thing they call fencing. i didn't see any fences, though, just a bunch of people wearing white and making loud clashy noises. daddy said something about getting me a gray vest and i would match him.

there were some nice ladies there though. they didn't hold me but i smiled at them anyway. i always like to wait for people to smile at me before i smile back.

today aunt jen and mum took me to the dark place where mum and dad took me before. it was a lot noisier though, but i was so tired i didn't care. then when i woke up we were in the car! i was like, omg, what are we doing here, but aunt jen read a book with me and i said okay, that's cool.

people keep mixing stuff up on me though. they should give a girl some warning.

now it is time to "watch football" according to mummy. i haven't decided if that sounds like fun or not yet.
